With the Walker, XMG launched the first backpack PC to enable quasi-wireless virtual reality with the HTC Vive. XMG’s Walker puts the power of a full PC at your back. The system is equipped with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 and 16 GB of DDR 4 memory. To ensure the system has enough power, XMG relies on two battery blocks that need to be inserted into the system and can also be swapped out during play. So you don’t have to turn off your PC when you want to insert a new battery to stay in the virtual world. You can play for 90-100 minutes with 1 batteries. The battery is charged via a separate charging station, so you don’t have to hang your PC with a cable when the battery needs charging.
