RED Hydrogen One

The renown camera manufacturer RED developed a flagship smartphone with a 4-View-Capture System for 3D and other nice tweaks.

Categories: ,

The first smartphone with a holographic 3D display without glasses, all-round sound, the option to record 3D video in 4V format and a modular expansion.
It features a 5.7-inch 1440p LCD with “4V” (“4 View”) branded 3D display technology. Developed by red-backed startup Leia, the technology uses nanostructures to bend a display’s backlight into a field of light, creating a ‘holographic’ depth effect.
The device has two front-facing 8-megapixel and rear-facing 16-megapixel cameras that can also be used to take holographic photos and videos that are 4V compatible.
